The US Department of Justice's (DoJ) antitrust division has concluded its inquiry into possible anticompetitive conduct in the glyphosate-based herbicide industry.The inquiry was closed without any action being required by Monsanto,the company reports."We are pleased that the Justice Department has closed its inquiry and this issue is now behind us," says Monsanto's chairman,president and CEO,Hugh Grant.
