摘要

Microcapsules containing chlorophyll derivatives were prepared by a modified interfacial polymerization through an oil-in-water emulsion. After simple standing, 1-μm diameter microcapsules were separated and characterized by scanning electron microscope and visible and fluorescence spectroscopic analyses. The polyurethane coating particles have chlorophyllous pigments in 1 %(v/v) hexanol and tridecane at the core part. The microcapsule possessing self-aggregates of a synthetic zinc-chlorophyll might be a model of light-harvesting antenna of photosynthetic green bacteria, called a chlorosome.
