摘要

Exports of South Sudan's Dar Blend crude, long stalled by disputes with neighboring Sudan, which controls the infrastructure necessary to bring the oil to market, have now resumed. The first cargo in more than a year, of 600K bbl, was loaded from the Bashayer terminal on June 21-23, bound for China aboard the aframax tanker Hellespont Tatina. A second 600K bbl cargo has been booked by Vitol, and is expected to be sent to Fujairah on the Persian Gulf. On June 29, a IMM bbl South Sudanese oil shipment is also set to leave from Sudan's Port Sudan. The South Sudanese crude booked to leave from Port Sudan is likely coming from oilfields in South Sudan operated by China National Pettoleum Corp. (CNPC), Indian firm ONGC Videsh, and Malaysian state energy company Petfonas.
