With this issue an era will end for AT Mineral Processing: In 1960 Dr.-lng. Rolf Kohling was one of the initiators of this journal and was associated with it, working in various positions for almost 50 years and since 1986 as publisher. Due to his age, Rolf Kohling, who celebrated his 85th birthday in January 2008, has been retiring more and more from active working life and with this issue his activity as publisher will come to an end.
