Here are many definitions for GIS, in the simplest terms, GIS is the merging of cartography, statistical analysis, and database technology. Many have expressed that GIS integrates hardware, software, and data for capturing, managing, analyzing and publishing all forms of geographically referenced information. Still others have said that GIS is a technological field that incorporates geographical features with tabular data in order to map, analyze, and assess real world problems. Whatever the many various definitions are, you will find that GIS Cloud is a software platform that will allow you to efficiently and with great ease implement the very best that GIS technology has to offer. It is a simple and solution for real time field location, multimedia and attributes data collection. Collecting field data or completing field surveys has never been easier.
