The port of Rotterdam is celebrating the recent acquisition of two new banana services from Central America. ROTTERDAM is now handling Seatrade Reefer Chartering's established "Seaban Service" from Costa Rica, a move that marks the return of bananas to the port after an absence of 25 years. The new service sees bananas, pineapples and seasonal melons discharged at the port's terminals on a weekly basis throughout the year.
