The recent acquisition of an Australian stonefruit, apple and pear producer is expected to lead to an increase in exports to Europe for the Freshmax Group of Companies. Freshmax's recent buy-out of Australian stonefruit, apple and pear marketer OzTaste has further strengthened the company's position in the Australasian fresh produce sector following a number of other acquisitions over the last year. As part of a new service called Freshmax Farms, the incorporation of OzTaste into the business will help the group to significantly expand its supply network through investment in farming and production unitss enabling it to supply a greater volume of product to markets worldwide, including Europe.
