WELCOME to this, your guide to GeoDrilling 2008, only the third exhibition and confer- ence in the UK in the last 20 years devoted exclusively to -drilling and drilling-related services. The last two GeoDrilling shows, in 2005 and 2006, were a huge success and, building on that, this year's show, at its new home in Peterborough, is even bigger and even better with more exhibitors and an extended seminar programme encompassing Geothermal Live! I would like to express my thanks to Brian Stringer, national secretary of the British Drilling Association (BDA), who has personally put an enormous amount of time and effort into preparations for the conference and exhibition.
