ISO/TC 176, Quality management and quality assurance, the ISO technical committee responsible for the ISO 9000 standards has a new Secretary, Grant Gillis, who replaces fellow Canadian Martin Grosskopf. The latter has left CSA International, which holds the ISO/TC 176 on behalf of the Standards Council of Canada, for a position in financial services.Grant Gillis joined CSA International in 1998 as a Project Manager in the Health Care Technology Programme, Standards Division. In that position, he was responsible for such technical committees as implantable medical devices, quality management for medical device manufacturing, and medical laboratories.
