It's interesting to see that Aston Martin and Zagato are to collaborate again to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary DB4GT Zagato. That car came about because Aston Martin's own attempt at producing a racing DB4 - the DB4 GT - was still too heavy to compete on even terms on the racetrack with the Ferrari 250 SWB Berlinetta. As a result, an agreement was signed for semi-completed Aston Martin chassis to be shipped to the Zagato works in Milan for a new lightweight body to be fitted.
