According to the recently released, quarterly Manpower Employment Outlook Survey, which was conducted by the recruitment and staffing agency, employers across the major economic regions of South Africa have indicated weaker job prospects in the third quarter of 2008. The survey says that employers in all sectors of the South African labour market are less optimistic about hiring in the third quarter, saying that they will add fewer permanent employees to their payrolls compared to the second quarter and compared to one year ago.
