摘要

Phosphorus is an essential biophilic element whose biogeochemical cycle differs from those of other biophilic elements (N, C) by the low mobility of most species in the soil and the earth crust, the absence of restoration mechanism in living organisms, and the tendency to elimination from the biological turnover because of the irreversible immobilization by soils at the application of fertilizers and the removal of phosphorus compounds to the ocean with the river runoff. The occurrence forms of phosphorus in the nature and its behavior in soils were studied in numerous studies of Russian and foreign authors. Some results of these studies are presented below.
