摘要

Modern technologies for sulphide copper and copper-nickel concentrates processing include autogenous smelting and matte converting. For autogenous smelting different smelting processes are used: Outokumpu flash smelting, IN CO oxygen-flash smelting, Ausmelt and Isasmelt processes, Vaniukov's smelting and other. In the result of smelting rich matte, slag and gases with high sulphur content are produced. Slags, as s rule, are subjected to cleaning. Gases are sent to utilization. Matte is delivered to converting where iron and sulphur are removed. The products of converting are high-grade matte and blister copper.
