摘要

Field experiment was conducted during Rabi seasons of 1994-95 and 1995-96 at Bichpuri, Agra to study the effect of cutting management, nitrogen and phosphorus levels on biomass production and nutritive value of oat fodder. Nutritive value as expressed in terms of nitrogen, phosphorus, calcium and crude protein contents were higher when no cutting was done. Cutting at 55 days of sowing exhibited higher nutritive values in green forage, seed and straw as compared to cutting done at 75 days of sowing.A dose of 100 kg N and 30 kg P_2O_5/ha was optimum for producing quality fodder.
