The authors describe the case of a 52-year-old woman, with a history of three different cancers. She has been presenting with a right pleural tumor found fortuitously while the patient was undergoing routine CT scanning. After surgical removal, the diagnosis of solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura was confirmed. The aim of this article is to review the clinical, radiological, and histological features of the disease as well as the treatment of this rare tumor.
