摘要

The calculation of the changes in the average annual temperatures of the surface water of the World Ocean in the late Pleistocene demonstrates that, during the maximum of the last glaciation (18 ka), the temperature was 4.4 degrees lower than the present-day value, while during the last interglacial period (125 ka) it was 0.3 degree higher. During the last glaciation, the change in the average water temperature in the Northern Hemisphere was 2 degrees greater than in the Southern Hemisphere. During the last interglacial period, the average water temperature in the Northern hemisphere was the same as now, while in the Southern Hemisphere, it was 0.6 degree higher than at present.
