Kiwifruit packer and marketer Zespri is noticing reduced food consumption in its markets and is perhaps a bit lucky with the timing as it shifts the ast part of this season's fruit. Acting chief executive Lain Jager reports the "slowing global economy, credit crunch and high oil prices" are noticeably increasing costs of doing business and having an impact on spending in key markets.
