New Zealand pipfruit growers can now benefit from DuPont~(TM) Fontelis~R fungicide, a new fungicide proven to address critical resistance management issues in pipfruit. DuPont New Zealand country manager Mark Christie is pleased to announce the registration of DuPont~(TM) Fontelis~R fungicide to the New Zealand market. "Fontelis~R is a next-generation carboximide fungicide that provides superior protection for pipfruit crops against black spot and powdery mildew," says Mark. "With the DMI's (Group 3) and Strobilurins (Group I I) under resistance pressure there is an increasing need for new chemistry. Fontelis~R will be a welcome addition to the spray programme where resistance issues represent a significant problem to the industry."
