Dallas, TX - alias "Big D" in that part of the country - served as the host city for SAMPE's Fall Technical Conference. And, by all standards, a very successful one at "that. One of the key technology focus areas for this show was the emphasis, and strong response, to the "nanocomposites technology" field. SAMPH has long recognized the rapid growth in this area and has taken a lead position in addressing leading edoe M&P" related to nanotechnology in general and nanocomposites specifically. SAMPE's fall show seems to have gotten even bigger as this year's event attracted record numbers of attendees to its technical program and one of the strongest fall exhibitions to date. Attendees were able to sit in on over 110 technical presentations, ai least 7 technology panels, hear 2 impressive Keynotes, participate in 2 Special Seminars and sign up for any of the 6 tutorial sessions that are the foundation of SAMPE's on-site educational program. The two Special Seminars (High Temperature Composites Market Overview, and Sandwich and Core Technology: Overview and Applications) were attended by a large group in their first time offerings. These are being combined into a single CD ROM which will be made available through the SAMPE web site and bookstore.
