摘要

Adsorption of alachlor on soil, farm yard manure (FYM) and charcoal was studied by batch equilibrium method. The adsorption of alachlor in 5-100 mg kg~(-1) concentration ranged from 79.7-89.3% in soil, 84.0-93.9% in FYM and 88.7-99.0% in charcoal. The adsorption isotherm of alachlor in all the three cases is L- type isotherm indicating alachlor adsorption is higher at low concentration and decreases at higher concentration. The adsorption isotherm fitted very well to the Freundlich equation as r~2 values ranged from 0.98-0.99. The Rvalues in FYM and charcoal was found to be higher than in soil indicating maximum adsorption in FYM and charcoal.
