EPA announced in the June 20 Federal Register (72 FR 33901) that is has established a regional tolerance for residues of the herbicide lactofen - (1-(carboethoxy) ethyl 5-2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl) phenoxy-2-nitrobenzoate-in or on vegetables,fruiting,group 8 at 0.02 parts per million (ppm) and okra at 0.02 ppm.
