摘要

The bacteria were isolated from field having history of pesticide application. The isolate CS1 was characterized by biochemical tests and 16S rRNA as Pseudomonas stutzeri. The half-life of cypermethrin degradation at 50 μg mL~(-1) level in mineral salt medium by Pseudomonas stutzeri was 12 days. One of the products was 3(2,2-dichlorovinyl)-2,2-dimethyl cyclopropane carboxylic acid which was isolated after 20 days of exposure to the bacterium proving the esterase activity in the microorganism.
