Haifa—Oil Refineries Ltd. (ORL) said it has decided to invest about $45-million to "optimize the existing flows" at its Haifa refinery for the production of polymers and another $60-million to increase the refinery's propylene capacity. In announcing its financial results for the third quarter, the company explained the investments are intended "to leverage potential synergies."
