What do we mean by "teaching with the Web"? To answer that question, consider what "real" teachers do. They involve students in situations that are designed to encourage learning. Teaching is not something that one person can do to another; a potential learner can only be encouraged to learn. So when we use the Web to teach, we need to stimulate the mind of the user and offer a visual (and sometimes audible) environment to encourage learning.
