The invention relates to the technical field of thermal spraying, specifically relates to a method for preparing a Y2O3 ceramic coating by supersonic flame spraying technology. The method comprises the following steps: (1) selecting Y2O3 powder with a purity greater than 99.9% and performing drying treatment; (2) pretreating a surface of a substrate to be sprayed, (3) spraying the surface of the substrate by supersonic flame spraying technology to prepare the Y2O3 ceramic coating. The Y2O3 coating prepared by the invention has a compact structure, a low porosity between 0.5% and 2%, and a bonding strength of the coating (between the coating and the substrate) ranging from 60 MPa to 80 MPa.
