the present invention relates to, in a broad sense, the art of the development and design of a highly sensitive and selective electrochemical biosensor for the detection of mycotoxins.the invention belongs to the field of nanotechnology for the development of tools for the analysis of biochemical and electrochemical bics (concerning, in particular, a process permettanto detect quantitatively the ochratoxin a (ota) is a mycotoxin produced by several fungi (penicillium and aspergillus genera).the simplicity of the concept, the miniature size, low cost and ease of use are the basis for the marketing of such a product.in this context, the biosensor has been developed based on a simple strategy where a printed carbon electrode was modified with gold nanoparticles electrochemically by mercaptoethanol.a strand dna with high affinity for complexation of ota (anti ota aptamer) and a derivative ferrocénique noted, the fsc.the electrochemical studies, we were able to demonstrate the linearity of the response over the concentration range of interest, a longer shelf life.the selectivity for the analyte in question, and the ability to exclude the interference of bioactive substances.the analysis platform with a wide dynamic range (0.5 to 70 ng·ml (1) and a detection limit of 0.oil ng·ml (within the limits set by the european commission for agricultural products).this detection system was used for the quantification of ota in complex environments, such as roasted coffee beans and wine without any pretreatment of the samples.
