PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate numerical solving method of an advection equation while suppressing numerical diffusion.;SOLUTION: An advection equation for determining advection of physical quantity from the physical quantity and a velocity field defined on a discretized space is solved by numerical calculation. A storage means stores the physical quantity f(x, t0) and 0-th to m-max-th moment integration amounts Mm(x, t0) of the physical quantity f(x, t0). In a space profile calculation step, a restriction condition of f(x, tn) and Mm(x, tn) is imposed to determine a space profile F(x, tn) and Gm(x, tn) of f(x, tn) and Mm(x, tn). In an advection term calculation step, physical quantities f and Mm in a middle time step by f(x, t*)=F(x-udt, tn) and Mm(x, t*)=Gm(x-udt, tn) (wherein u is an advection velocity vector). In a non-advection term addition step, a non-advection term is calculated from f(x, t*) and Mm(x, t*) and a physical quantity f(x, tn+1) and a moment integration amount Mm(x, tn+1) in the next time step are determined by using the calculated non-advection term.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
