PURPOSE: A learning material for developing a number calculating ability and a method for learning calculation using the same are provided to develop strategic thinking power by guiding the creativity of a user. CONSTITUTION: A game board(20) includes twelve horizontal lines(23) and twelve vertical lines(24). The horizontal lines and the vertical lines are formed into a grid shape. One king shaped unit and nine horse shaped units form a group of an army. Each unit is arranged at each initial position. The unit is moved according to a pre-set rule. If the army catches the king of the other army, the army wins.
