Sound waves damping device for use as e.g. respiration apparatus, has unit for damping sound waves with interfering frequency of flow medium, and arranged on region of cable unit, where medium lies at measuring region of sensor
The device has an ultrasonic sensor (8) arranged at a region of a cable unit, and determining parameters of a flow medium e.g. gas or air. A unit for damping sound waves with an interfering frequency of the flow medium is arranged on a region of the cable unit. The flow medium lies at a measuring region of the ultrasonic sensor, and a bluff body is inserted into the cable unit. The bluff body consists of a non-metallic material such as polyoxymethylene, and is formed for accommodation of a membrane. An independent claim is also included for a method for damping sound waves of interfering frequency.
