PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase ionization efficiency with regard to each compound and improve detection sensitivity when doing LC/MC analysis of a sample that includes various compounds.SOLUTION: In a post column addition unit 16, additive liquid feeding pumps 164A, 164B draw in different kinds of additives A, B from containers 163A, 163B, respectively, and have the additives mixed into an eluent through three-way joints 162, 161. A preferable combination of additives is a combination of DMSO from which a charge state compaction effect is obtained and 2-propanol which has droplet refinement and vaporization promoting effects. By mixing these two kinds of additives with an appropriate flow ratio in accordance with a predetermined flow program and having them mixed into an eluent, it is possible to bring the efficiency of ionization when ionizing the eluent while charging-atomizing it from an ESI spray 21 to a close-to-optimum state for each compound.
