摘要

Accurate assessment of the presence and distribution of pharmaceuticals in aquatic systems is predicated on the accurate, unbiased determination of thes comounds in samples at ambient concentrations. To address this need, we developed a direct injection, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)/tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) method for the determination of 110 human-use pharmaceuticals in filtered-water samples. The method is applicable to groundwater, surface water, drinking water, wastewater influent and effluent, and other aqueous samples that might contain trace concentrations of plarmaceuticals.
