摘要

With the fast development of computer and communication technology, Artificial Intelligence Technologies give a great impetus to scientific development of Intelligent Building(lB). This paper introduces the conception of artificial intelligence(AI)and its relative technologies, such as expert system, artificial neural network, fuzzy logic control and multi-agent systems;the conception of IB and its components. At the same time, it also describes the application in IB, presents the tendency in the future. It points that: 1.the trend of combination of different AI technologies used in lB will continue;2.the Virtual Building will be used in IB to detect design fault or evaluate the performance of a building before it is buiand 3. the emotional intelligence and affective computing technique will be used in IB.
