PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) is a central technique in molecular biology developed by Kary Mullis in the 1980s. This revolutionary technique is widely used in medical and biological research labs for a variety of applications. One of the most important application of PCR is its use for rapid diagnosis of infectious diseases, including those caused by bacteria or viruses. In recent years, this essential molecular tool has been improved and the wide range of modifications or variants have been developed from the basic PCR method [1]. In this context, we would like to present a novel, developed by our group, PCR-dependent procedure for identification of pathogens.
