The pollutants in water environment can be determined and evaluated quickly and easily by using luminescent bacteria as detecting organism in biological toxicity test. So the toxicity experiment of luminescent bacteria was explored for undergraduates of environmental specialty. After the preparation for the experiment, the students designed and conducted the experiment. Then, they wrote the laboratory reports, analyzed the data and summarized the experiment. In this way,not only did the students learn the basic theoretical knowledge of luminescent bacteria toxicity test, but also their comprehensive ability to analyze problems combining The actual situation was cultivated.
