Authors' note: Road Tripping Down the Digital Preservation Highway follows the continuing adventures of Peter Palmer, erstwhile librarian at Bellaluna University and manager of the library's and University's digital content, as he journeys down the Digital Preservation Highway. In our last visit with Peter Palmer, he had just begun thinking about all the pieces and parts of a preservation-oriented digital repository and how those pieces and parts might be assembled to serve the needs of the library, faculty, and administration at Bellaluna University.
