The issues that face dairy today are not just ones of low milk prices. Changing attitudes to dairy and milk are also underway, with the industry facing some heat from the plant drink and "clean eating" advocates, which often advocate removing entire food groups from one's diet - including dairy. The third session at the EDA Annual Congress in Nice, France, attempted to take a longer perspective with its panel of a sociologist, an archaeologist and an anthropologist to explore this phenomenon.
