Lori Reed and Paul Signorelli have put together a very usable piece of work aimed at defining and exploring the concept of trainer-teacher-learner within librarianship. Interviewing many colleagues, the authors provide a variety of insight and advice on this often overlooked role that we all play. With chapters entitled "In the Beginning" (Chapter 1), "In the Middle" (Chapter 5), and "The End Is the Beginning" (Chapter 9), one senses a sort of lesson plan unfolding for the reader. The chapters are distinctive enough, however, to stand alone for anyone needing a quick piece of advice in a particular area.
