摘要

Blue-light laser diodes using ZnSe are one of the key devices necessary for the realization of multi media- related systems. In this paper, it was confirmed that the vapor pressure control system, newly developed and introduced to a Bridgman furnace, worked efficiently for growing high grade ZnSe single crystals. Furthermore, it was proven that the use of B_2O_3 Encapsulation was effective for growing twin-free ZnSe Single crystals.
