Robert Kitching is a man of many parts. First and foremost he is a cheesemaker, but he is also a familiar face on Britain's summer agricultural and cheese show circuit promoting cheese to a wide audience. He presents a unique show in which he turns a gallon of milk into a pound of cheese in little more than half an hour. Mr Kitching has given the demonstration on behalf of a number of regional cheesemakers in recent years, but this time around the emphasis will be on Lancashire cheese. "The Lancashire Cheesemakers' Association is sponsoring me to do the show circuit and to get a higher profile for Lancashire," he explains.
