摘要

Language used in the student interface is easy to understand and will require little explanation for high school students. Middle school students may need a step-by-step walk-through tour by the instructor for the first administration, but should be able to provide meaningful data easily. The rating system describes behaviors exhibited by teammates, which helps keep the focus on team contribution instead of student popularity. The CATME tool is a method of streamlining peer evaluation data collection and provides the teacher with a fast and well-organized dashboard of team performance. However, for secondary and collegiate education alike, the instructor should review results carefully and intervene as needed using these data as a "red-flag" that an issue exists. This tool helps provide teachers with insights that are difficult to gather through design journals or weekly reflections. Teachers can use this insight about team performance to mentor students and help them resolve issues within their team.
