The literature review (94 articles and patents,published in majority in last decade) of methods of synthesis and selected properties of a new group of nano-hybrid polymers,containing chemically incorporated molecules of polyhedral silsesquioxanes (POSS),has been done.The effect of POSS on mechanical and thermal properties as well as on morphology of such polymers was described.Application directions of nano-hybrid materials discussed were also presented.
