The views and experiences of pre-registration trainees in Great Britain have been the subject of little research, One study undertaken in the period 1992-1993 reported the perceptions of pre-registration trainees on their undergraduate education.Since that time pre-registration training and assessment have changed. Further, 2001 was the first year in which all UK schools of pharmacy produced MPharm graduates after a four-year degree The aims of this study were to determine factors influencing graduate choice of pre-registration training sector and to establish their level of satisfaction with pharmacy as a choice of career.
