摘要

The first iron complex of an anionic gallium N-heterocyclic carbene analogue, [Fe(CO)_4{Ga[N(Ar)C(H)]_2}]~- Ar = C_6H_3-Pr_2~i-2,6, has been prepared and shown to have an unusual polymeric structure in the solid state; theoretical studies have pointed toward minimal Fe → Ga back-bonding in this complex.
