Recent demonstrations of autonomous technologies are helping to inform decision-makers on the readiness of such systems. To this end, the US Army Tank-Automotive Research and Development Center (TARDEC) and the UK's Defence Science and Technology Laboratory jointly embarked on a robotics demonstration in October to show how the unmanned systems of the future can assist last-mile logistics.
