A question that is frequently asked, goes along the lines what s all the fuss about chemical migration from packaging? Surely the area is in danger of being over-regulated?. This introduction to packaging migration aims to answer this question. It illustrates just how extensively our diet contacts a wide variety of packaging materials, how many chemicals are required to make materials with the technological properties needed, and the main factors that determine how chemical migration occurs.
