摘要

Various 3-(substituted)-1-H indole 2(a-d) were synthesized by mannich reaction and these products were used as an intermediate for the synthesis of 1-phenyl-2-[-3-(substituted)-1-H-indole-1-yl] ethanone 4(a-d), by Friedal-Craft arylation with chloroacetophenone 3. Finally this product is used to synthesize Chalcone derivatives, 3-substituted-1-{(2E)-1-phenyl-3-(3, 4, 5 ) trimethoxyphenyl)}but-2-en-1-one)indole 6(a-d). The final products were screened for antimicrobial activities. Data obtained with excellent results against bacteria and fungi.
