摘要

Palynological and microfaunistic studies on Kazimierz open-pit and BK-110 borehole (Konin area) were carried out. The organicand inorganic components of the assemblage were subject to two independent analytical methods, obligatory in palynological and microfau-nistic investigations. Comparison of composition and succession of both organic and selected petrographic components allowed identifica-tion of the paleoenvironment as well as distinguishing five developmental phases in the Poznan Formation in the studied area. The presen-ted phases of evolution of the Poznan Formation basin, in the Konin area are connected with changing hydrodynamic conditions. It reflectswater level oscillation and is recorded in the facies succession as swamps through lakes and brackish lagoons and returning to open lakeagain.
