EPA issued a direct final rule in the July 7 Federal Register (69 FR 40787)making minor corrections to the TSCA Inventory Update Rule reporting regulations.EPA is required to keep current an inventory of chemical substances manufactured or processed in the United States.The initial IUR reporting regulation was promulgated to facilitate the periodic updating of this inventory.The IUR was amended in January 2003 to collect manufacturing processing and use exposure-related information and to make certain other changes.
