Objective To investigate the expressions of Bmi-1 and Ki67 in the esophageal carcinoma tissues and their clinical significance. Methods The expressions of Bmi-1 and Ki67 in 136 cases of esophageal carcinoma tissues and adjacent normal esophageal tissues were determined by immunohistochemistry, and their relationship with the clinicopathological characteristics of esophageal carcinoma was analyzed. The correlation between the two expres-sions in the esophageal carcinoma tissues was determined. Results ① The expression of Bmi-1 in the esophageal carcinoma tissues significantly increased compared with that in the adjacent normal tissues (73.5% vs 23.5%, P<0.05), and correlated with the invasion depth of esophageal carcinoma, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage ( P<0.05). ②The expression of Ki67 in the esophageal carcinoma tissues significantly increased compared with that in the adjacent normal tissues (66.2% vs 41.2%, P<0.05), and closely correlated with age, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage (P<0.05). ③ The correlation analysis indicated that the expression of Bmi-1 and Ki67 in the esophageal carcinoma tissues was positively correlated (r=0.621, P<0.05). Conclusion The expressions of Bmi-1 and Ki67 are correlated with the occurrence, development and prognosis of esophageal carcinoma. Bmi-1 is involved in the regulation of Ki67 expression.%目的 探讨食管癌组织中B细胞特异性英洛氏鼠白血病病毒插入位点-1(Bmi)-1、Ki67表达情况及临床意义.方法 采用免疫组织化学检测Bmi-1和Ki67在136例食管癌组织及癌旁正常食管组织中的表达,分析其与食管癌临床病理特征的关系,并探讨两者在食管癌组织中表达的相关性.结果 ①Bmi-l在食管癌组织中的表达较癌旁正常组织显著升高(73.5%与23.5%,P<0.05),且与食管癌的浸润深度、有无淋巴结转移及临床分期相关(P<0.05);②Ki67在食管癌组织中的表达较癌旁正常组织明显升高(66.2%与41.2%P<0.05),且与患者年龄、有无淋巴结转移及临床分期关系密切(P<0.05);③相关性分析提示,Bmi-1与Ki67在食管癌组织中的表达呈正相关(r=0.621,P<0.05).结论 Bmi-1、Ki67的表达与食管癌的发生、发展及预后相关,Bmi-1参与调控Ki67表达.
