To discuss the differences between healthy people and people with disabilities in the relationship between per-ceived social support, self-esteem and social avoidance and distress, we surveyed 600 people with disabilities and 600 healthy people in Henan province by using Perceived Social Support Scale, Self-esteem Scale, and Social A-voidance and Distress Scale. The results indicated that:(1) There was a significant difference between people with disabilities and healthy people in perceived friends’ support and self-esteem. (2) Perceived social support could sig-nificantly backward predict the social avoidance and distress of people with disabilities. (3) Self-esteem could mod-erate the relationship between perceived family’s and total score of social support and social avoidance, and it could also moderate the relationship between perceived family’s, other’s and total score of social support and social dis-tress. Therefore, self-esteem played a moderating role in the relationship between perceived social support and social avoidance and distress. These findings have important theoretical and reference values and may contribute to decrea-sing social avoidance and distress of people with disabilities.%采用领悟社会支持量表(PSSS)、自尊量表(SES)和社交回避及苦恼量表(SAD)对河南省18个市的600名残疾人和600名非残疾人进行调查，探讨残疾人与非残疾人之间的部分差异以及残疾人领悟社会支持、自尊与社会回避及苦恼的关系。结果发现：(1)残疾人与非残疾人在领悟朋友支持和自尊维度上存在显著差异；(2)残疾人领悟朋友支持、家人支持以及其他支持的水平均能够显著反向预测社交回避及社交苦恼；(3)自尊能够调节残疾人领悟家人支持、领悟社会支持总分与社交回避的关系以及领悟家人支持、其他支持、领悟社会支持总分与社交苦恼的关系。因此，自尊在残疾人领悟社会支持与社交回避及苦恼的关系中起调节作用。研究结论对降低残疾人社交回避及苦恼具有理论和实践的参考价值。
